What is
Massage Therapy?
Massage is the practice of applying pressure or vibration to the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage is known to influence the different parts of the body, including systems and organs. Massage has been used to prevent and heal injury. It also helps relieve psychological stress, manage pain, improve circulation, relieve tension, relieve headaches, provide relaxation and eliminate toxins from the body. Its history can be traced back to China circa 3000 BC and Egypt circa 2500 BC. Scientific massage therapy was introduced into the U.S. in the 1850s by two New York physicians who learned in Sweden. Today, more than 1,000 schools teach massage therapy.

Helps relieve tension.
Neck- Loosens knots by removing built-up toxins.
Shoulders- Relieves deep muscle fatigue.

I'm
pregnant, can I still get a massage?
The
general answer is Yes! If you have any preexisting
conditions, or
a complicated pregnancy and are worried just ask your doctor, or
ask to speak with Dr. Robles.
I have a
massage therapist now, what is the difference?
If
you're happy with your therapist now, we are happy you have found a
good fit. Many patients that come to our office have tried
the
'cookie cutter' mega-massage businesses and are very happy they came to
our office. We are the best in Upland!
Will my
insurance
cover the massage?
Every insurance policy is different and the staff at Lucid Force Health
Center
will check on your insurance coverage. We will advise you of any
coverage or limitations of coverage before any care is initiated.
How much
do your massages cost?
Our rates are as follows:
1 Hour: $85
1/2 Hour: $50
1 1/2 Hour: $135
